Join us in Ottawa, Canada, for the Liberation Conference. This three-day weekend of events and actions for Palestine aims to confront colonialism and build towards liberation by strategizing together for collective struggle. 

This anti-colonial conference will highlight the path forward for the Palestinian liberation movement in North America, by focusing on building connections and mutual support with the Indigenous liberation struggles and Black liberation movement, as well as with working-class and labour organizing and international liberation movements. Combining intensive strategy sessions, workshops and panels and a mass anti-colonial march, the Liberation Conference Ottawa 2023 aims at resisting colonialism and imperialism across cultural, political, and economic fronts and the formation of an alliance.

The conference is situated in the Palestinian diaspora and will focus on struggles in North America, while remaining rooted to the struggle for liberation and return and the defeat of Zionism, colonialism and imperialism.

This congregation will build on the learnings and internationalist network of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, especially its week of actions in Brussels during October 2022 and its founding conference in Madrid, Sao Paulo and Beirut in October 2021.

The program will include:

• Friday, April 28: Palestine Forum (10 am – 7 pm) – A gathering of activists, organizers and strugglers developing a strategic plan for our collective movement.
• Saturday, April 29: Liberation Conference (10 am – 7 pm) –  Workshops, panel discussions and strategy sessions on a variety of topics, including the People’s Tribunal on US Imperialism, the Holy Land 5 and Palestinian Prisoners, Indigenous and Black Liberation, Anti-Zionism and Anti-Colonialism, Building the Boycott Movement, the Struggle to Return to Palestine, Filipino and Palestinian Struggles, and Labour and Working-Class Organizing. • Sunday, April 30: Return and Liberation March in Ottawa – Take the streets in a march against settler colonialism and imperialism and for liberation! On the 75th anniversary of the ongoing Nakba, we march for collective liberation.
